| Ok guys, now that there is no OS bearings available for the 924, is the only alternative to source a crank with Standard journals? Can a crank be welded and machined to Standard size or what can be done. I read the posts in a previous discussion with interest, but it died down with no real result. |

In the old days hard chroming and grinding cranks to bring them back to standard was common place. Havn't heard of it been done latley though.
If someone (i.e. ideola!) wanted to do another group buy, I would be up for a couple of sets of OS bearings
Cheers

| They can be welded and turned back down, but it gets expensive to have it done. Usually done to a single damaged journal to save a crank. |

I don't see why king doesn't produce them. They have done it before and there sure is some market for it. _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)
