I'm looking for a set of phone dial wheels, and i've posted my WTB here, i've recieved an email from a guy named Evans Halshaw from UK....he must have gotten the email from the board i guess.
he offered me a deal that at the begining sounded too good to be true. 150$ shipped.
now he recalculated the shipping and insurance and the deal is still better than anything i can get from germany or locally, 200$ shipped.
the question is: did anybody deal with him before?
he is asking for advance payment, and not accepting cash at delivery.
he called me today, saying that the wheels are ready to be shipped and he is expecting the money transfer confirmation.
TIA guys ! _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

I don't know about over there but anything over $250 for phone dials is kinda high.
I paid $100 for mine. _________________ 81 924 N/A

Well locals ask 200-300 euros / set...thats $265-$400 without shipping
I recently lost an "ebay.de" auction for a set of phonies at 250 euro.
So $150 =~110euro shipped sounds very cheap to me
Anyway...now he asks $200 =~150euro...shipped...thats still a very good price...well below anything i can find locally. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

Can you pay with paypal? Then use your credit card and make the purchase that way if they don't show up you have SOME sort of recourse. _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

Be cautious dude. When I posted "WTB Siemens DITC" on 924board.org some time ago, I received 4 or 5 messages from UK stating that the sender of the message had one and was ready to ship it right away.
What caugth my eye was that none of these responses actually mentioned 924, 931, Porsche or Siemens DITC itself in any way. On every message they were described as "item". Also these messages were sent to my email instead of using boards private message system, which made me suspicious that these sellers were not board members at all. _________________ Mikko
