Cheers thanks, Ye took a while to get the fuel pressure right then the timing and still wasn't running well but it started got it tuned at the local Volvo mechanic he got it running so good. Now my alternator belt is slipping putting a new one on tomorrow also got my reg replaced in my alternator and it's charging at 13.5 volts, I think it might have leaking diods because it jumps from 13.5 to 14.5 on the multimeter every now and then

Might need an alternator bushing mount replacment kit.

Look at the alt pulley and see whether it is running flush/in parallel with the front of the motor. If the bushings have perished (ooohh, learned "perished" from Wheeler Dealers ) you'll need to replace the mount bushings so the pulley, and hence the belt, run in line with the cam pulley and the alt therefore is properly driven...

Might also explain the slight variability in the voltage, although that sounds in-range to me...

... but also get a price from Porsche Centre Melbourne, as they are cheaper for some parts. One part I needed was cheaper new from Porsche than secondhand from aporschapart.

Yea ma mate has a 944 and today he said the same thing about Porsche centre melba, might compare prices ay.

Now that you mention it emoore924 it does look like it isn't spinning correctly, also noticed 2 fins have been snapped off the pulley.
