Hi everyone,

in my 4/77 euro N/A i have a small problem.Yesterday i turned the key,fuel pump and all lights in the dash went on as usual but the car / starter motor didnt kick in.......Is that the white piece of plastic in the ignition lock failure or something else?

Sounds like the ignition switch. It is indeed that white piece of plastic. It should be a cheap fix!

It could any of three things.
The ignition switch.
the wiring to the solenoid on the starter
the solenoid itself could be jammed.

all are common problems.

Problem solved,

it was one of the connectors inside the cable plug that leeds down to the starter.It came loose and i pushed it backinto position,car starts fine again.
