I just called around and cant find a replacement for this hose, Vertex auto lists it for $12 but I called and after checking for availability, they dont have it, its NLA. I then called Sunset Porsche in Portland, Oregon and they cant get it. Anyone have a work around for this?

I can confirm that that heater hose is in fact NLA. I've been salvaging all of the old ones from parts cars that I can so I have back up. I have not found (nor have I really tried to find) a suitable solution to replace this hose as so far, the ones that I have have held up.

It's on page 267 of my PET and is the longer heater hose that goes from the heater core to the heater valve.

Ok, got that, I have a couple of these, has a little 'pigtail' look to it.

Use 944-572-383-01 and trim down the end that goes through the firewall on the later cars.

Ten big ones at Pelican.
