Hey guys,
I recently got a 1978 924 and I'm having issues with the headlights not popping up. I'm guessing its to do with the molex connector since the last owner did some unspeakable things to it. If i manually move the knob for the headlight motor the motor will eventually kick in and open/close the headlight regardless of the light setting on/off too.

There's only 3 wires being, red-blue, grey, brown. Grey is the only wire giving a 12v signal when on. Any ideas? Im going to snip this connector but im not sure of the correct sequence.

By relay, that includes the relay socket and connections to the relay. I know sometimes I fix problems with my lights by pulling out and installing the relay which wipes corrosion off the contacts.

Those molex connectors are almost always burnt up, broken, or molested. Out of 5 924's I've had, only one was in good condition.
