What are the major differences between a 931 and 944 torque tube? Are they interchangeable?

I'm not aware of any differences. That being said, I haven't tried to swap a 944 TT into my 931 - it's actually in my 924.

What did you have to do to make it fit, if anything? Are you using the 924 clutch or 944 clutch?

I'm using the Rustang clutch disc to make the 944 torque tube fit in the 924. Obviously this would not be necessary in a 931.

Okay, great. You could use the same clutch setup to run a 931 torque tube on a 924 as well? I assume so, because you said there is no difference...

All right, so what is needed to do the Rustang clutch job? Is this covered in the FAQ?

I believe I covered it actually in the Tech Section, under Transmission.
