I recently pulled my cracked dash out of the car and proceded to figure out how to fix the cracks. I ground and sanded the raised edges of the cracks, then filled with a black water based caulk. I sanded that out and was left with minor dips where the cracks were. I filled those with Bondo brand bumper repair. It is a two part epoxy that makes a great sandable repair on plastics like this. After it was sanded out and looking fairly good I sprayed the entire dash with Krylon spray truck bed liner. That is some cool stuff and it leaves a nice texture that hides any remaining signs of the cracks to the point you need to know where to look or get the sun just right. Not perfect by anymeans but far better than the plastic dash overlay that was on there .. and my defrost vents are clear too

A friend of mine did something very similar. He filled the cracks and sprayed it with a special leather effect 3 stage paint .I think the result is amazing considering what he started out with.

Pics have been sent. I have no before pics but it looked very much like the ones in the earlier post .. only worse as I had some pretty big chunks missing from the cluster hood area. The pictures highlight what you can still see. They are not as noticable in regular daylight.

Let me know if this works ok for you.
