Head work, 10.5-1 compression, hot cam, Webers. If he sees less power with this set something is wrong with the universe.

Heh. Once we get the setup and tuning done, I'll put this on a dyno (rolling road for you folks from UK) to see what it will do. I'll be happy to post the results so we're discussing facts rather than inuendo. The lofty goal from the beginning was a reliable 150hp+ at the wheels but we shall see if I make that. I think it will be close...

Emoore, you've done pretty much all the mods I want to do to my '81 Weissach. I hope you don't mind, but I will be stealing plenty of your ideas.

Please let us know how it does on the dyno. I'd love to know what kind of numbers this setup can put out. 150rwhp would be great. Would make alot of the 944 guys eat their hat.

150RWHP would be very impressive! I'd be happy with 125 at the wheels, I'd like to be slightly quicker than a stock Turbo.

I'll be surprised if you have more than 100 hp at the wheels.

So i've noticed that picture 2 has a battery, while picture 1 does not. I'm willing to be the configuration shown in picture 2 runs a little bit better than in picture 1.

There's vid on youtube if you want to watch. Search for 924 and NJMP or something like that.

I'll be there this weekend if you want to come see in person. Now that the jetting is better (not sure its completely "right" yet) and the cam timing is set, she pulls pretty well, certainly howls from 3500-7k when its on the mains. Have not had her on a dyno but I'd say she's generating more than the stock 110 HP har

There's no battery because I store the car for extended periods and remove the battery to do so. That pic is from one of those times -- just happened to be a good shot of the engine compartment for comparo of the CIS to the carbie setup.
