Wicked!

I wonder if motor mounts and cross member clearance might be easier with an original 924 instead of the 924S.

Either way, great work getting it running an documenting it for the rest of us day dreamers!

Now, who's got a spare Audi V8 for sale? LOL

Great job, looks like it's going to be a fun car.

So is the 13B RX7 clutch plate a good fit on the spline? It could fix my clutch problems in my project!

Actually, I think that'll be the second gen RX7 (otherwise known as the Series 4) as all the 1st gen 7's were 215mm. Good to hear the spline works well though

This is interesting!

Why did you use the 7a instead of the turboengine? Any difference in block, crank or head? Aware of the nice 7a cams

I´m considering buying a racebuilt 10V with a 2,5l crank with a custom made sump and adapter for the bellhouse but am afraid of the time and money that I have to invest in such project.

well the 7a internals are good to about 400whp with a good tune. and you can pick up a 7a motor for really cheap, then have the head machined for water mani and a few additional exhaust mani studs for the turbo. block crank and head are the same, just pistons lower the compression on the turbo motors( so no need for a CR droppind HG).

this was the cars debut event. it ran quite well till i blew the seal on the hydraulic throwout bearing, not sure what to do about that yet, but it was alot of fun to drive the car for the first time!
