I've seen some sites that state the the head for a 924 is from an Audi 100. I've found a
yard here in El Paso that has many Audi 100's. Can that head be used in the 924?
Or will there be need for modifications?

Buy a Haynes book on the 924. And the audi 100 head (if it is the same) will work as long at it has fuel injection ports. The AMC spirits and postal jeeps use the same motor but it is of the carb variety. In fact I have three heads if someone (wanting a 924 with weber setup) is looking for a non fuel injection head
