Some news about the poor 016.

Nice view of the rear wing bracket

The front is not the same as 005 and 006 - 3 parts instead of 1

One of 006 in the workshop in Le Mans just before the race in 1981.

We can see the frame of the a 936 on the right of the 924.

Have a look on the porsche website "our return" there are some nice pictures

would anyone have spring ratios and track widths of GTR?
would use for setting the tire/spring setup for current car. target for track width could be GTR spec. I have Homogelation No 672 for Carrera GT where I get its track, its not much different compared to stock 944, GTR propably has more aggressive and wider setup. looks and functionality is the goal. maybe LeMans bodystyle + suspension...? Running with R888 so not using that heavy spring, just looking the right balance..

Great thread!

Any updates Rom? Noticed a number of photos are no longer being displayed.

Many many thanks for those who contributed their time and information in documenting this exclusive model and its history for us mere mortals to stumble upon and read.

All the best-

Jay
