Get to spend 2 hr on the other wheel today.. Also talked americas discount tire at length on alighnments they referred me to a shop
behind them, place called advanced auto.. didnt talk to them yet... though americas tire said they would remove a tire from a rim for 4 bucks and they can get 16" 205 55 for as low as 60 bucks... kuhmos are 109 bucks.

Now to start with a glass beaded rim.. ill sand first the last time i just polished the rim (turned out ok)
it was a wasted motion.

have pics later & Ill take your order for your smoothie.

After wet sanding for a few hrs I was able to do a polish on a the 2nd rim.
I need a faster motor for the buffing wheel though.

Hey Joes924Racer, this gave me the courage to polish my second hand aluminum rims, so thanks goes to you.
I skipped the blasting for lack of the proper equipment, but I sanded and buffed per instructions and even went to Harbor Freight for supplies.
The result was nothing less than astonishing, they do not look as good as yours but they will do.
