The porsche musuem is really nice. There are also factory tours if i remember correct. Go visit some of the race tracks, The Nurburgring is always an experience you cant miss, even if you doesnt have your own car. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

Sprechen Sie Deutsch?
Learn to speak German; generally their English is pretty poor.

Do visit Berlin, stay a few days and use the U-bahn (subway) to roam the old neighbourhoods in (former) East Berlin that are littered with secondhand/record/skate/art/book/wannabeehip stores and terasses, small restaurants, pubs, and venues.
Then after a few days of fun and too much Paulaner Hefe-Weizen (beer) take the trip up to Oranienburg to visit the Sachsenhausen concentration camp (political prisoners mainly). It will give you a different look upon WWII, Europe, justice and the 20th century history;
WTF was happening here?!
Try that. You'll remember that visit and much much later pass it on to your grand children.
I could list you some more citys hotspots when interested? Will you be in a specific region?
Its not like I've been every where but I can pull some strings.
Viel spaß! Harm. |

Hey thanks for all of your comments so far!
As for the 911, I would LOVE to do that, but you need to be eighteen to drive on Germany's roads. Maybe I can pull a few strings?
I will definitely go to the new Porsche museum, that's a given.
As for parts, do you really think they are going to have any more parts or cheaper parts over there? Just cause the car comes from there doesn't mean that they are going to be everywhere. Also, as to the bumpers, I think those may not qualify as a carry-ons.
Oh, I'm staying in the state of Hessen, in Frankfurt am Main. |
