I'm only curious, but in all the Haynes wiring diagrams, there is an orphaned fuse 5 which connects to nothing. Except pinouts for a standard relay that is obviously not connected but the outputs of which connect to the harnesses for the rear lights and the engine bay.
So does anyone know what it was supposed to be? Tail/parking lights? Fog lights?

It powers the extra headlights in the front bumper.
The Haynes book is very USA based and overlooks these lights, I did a wiring diagram of it a while ago whilst I was trouble shooting my lights.

Oh yes! I found out what that switch does just the other day! It also turns on the second high-beam lamp in the dash. Which meant that thread made so much more sense than when I posted before!
Clearly I should go back and read all the theads I've contributed to.
