Is it possable to swap a 8v head to a 16v. What are the details on doing this?? What are some benifits??? Is it worth doing???

the 16 valve 3 litre 944s had 220HP

now that is fine power for a non turbo 4 cyl.

I beleive the 4 valve per cyl 928 heads fit right on? or was it the 8 valve heads....bummer can't remember.

But Yah I think it is worth it to a certain extent, I mean its gonna be more expensive..but worth it for performance, not sure if the 2.5 litres react as well as the 3 litres did to the 4 valves per cyl.

Well the S2 had 208 in USA.
I do not believe the heads are interchangeable ... you need to be able to drive the other set of cams. I know the S2 head is not a bolt on.
