The 78? I'm cutting the roof off and making a roadster, but that's for later.

Now there's a cool idea I haven't seen implemented yet on a toofah! All time roadster, I love it! You'll get, what, maybe 2 maybe 3 months use out of that up there?!

You switched from a turbo to a DOHC engine. I would like either one though.

About my 78 - with all the horse-trading I did this summer I got the car for free. There's a really neat pic of a chopped 924 here on this site (I'll post the link) and I figured that since I got the car for free I can do no wrong. I just need to decide how I'm gonna reinforce the body. I was going to weld in a 4-point roll cage and weld in a steel cover where the hatch was. Still gotta figure out how to get at the marker lights when they need bulbs changed...

I will post pics as I go along but don't hold your breath, it'll be next summer before I even start.

Here you go: http://www.924.org/projects/convertible924.htm

Not the top car that looks like a frog with the Audi spoiler, the white one. I just fell in love with the way it looks. Of course, mine will be yellow, I think.

Webster's Dictionary is the name given to a common type of English language dictionary in the United States.

"spelled" is not English tis American and not in Collins or Oxford dictionary.
bet Dr Samuel Johnson is turning in his grave!

Well said Joes924Racer. no girl would clean an engine to that extent. What and be out shone by a semi-inanimate object?

RELATIONSHIP WARNING

Be careful guys. If you do this to your engine, your wife will leave you!

(Don't we just know how you all like to stand around cars with their hoods up - so be careful where you focus your attentions)

or you will be in trouble!

Heh. If I do that to my engine, my wife will DEMAND I do the same to hers...
