This weekend I put in refreshed control arms with powerflex bushings. but I have to wait for the alignment shop to open up. Last year I put in the front and rear sway bar bushings along with shocks and struts the year before. Really big improvement ride and comfort level. This is a daily driver.

I like the look and improved lighting that LEDs give for my night driving so I ordered a set of projections.

I'm hoping to be at the toofa meeting with my brother on the 21 of Sept. if anyone has a set of mud flaps or a black rear carpet with the full size spare im bringing a coupla doglegs, tube, clutch cover and lots of bit from a 79.

drop a line

I am doing up a black 924 and the headlights eric, tell us which ones they are that fit and actually light up black cows on the dark moon, don't leave us hanging,,,, please man,,,,is there a begging emoji?

Is putting a head gasket in interesting?

btw has anyone got 82 doorhandles with the downward actuating inside flipper that bends toward the door jam (and is usually broken?) They would be the last thing I need when the head is back on for rego.

so sorry to hear about the crash morghen, having crashed one myself once I can empathise I felt like the guy who broke the arm off the venus de milo, and mine was a real project that I was probably fortunate to lose but it lived on in dozens of other cars and made a lot of restorations possible. I still have some of the parts in my stash.
nice work on the red roll cage/v8, so thats how you do it, well! That looks very rigid indeed, wow.

Started my project car today for the first time.
Car sat unstarted for probably quite a few years, the gas i pulled out of it was red and smelled foul.

I could not stay away.
The car is Ruby-sh red and its in quite poor state.
Not a panel is unbent, interior is shot and partly missing.
It had no accidents but it was hit lightly when parked quite a lot.
Starts but dies right away, try again a few more times and it will idle and run nicely, i presume fuel filter is to be changed and injectors need a bit of exercise.

The main problem is that aftermarket sunroof made by Farmont, model F300.
It is broken and i cant find replacement parts for it.
Car is a 1985 NA, last day of production, within the last 50 2L 924 ever produced.
These very late 2L NA's have some interesting factory features and lets say upgrades like stiffer sway bars, some CIS improvements, heated windscreen spray nozzles..

Really like the colour Morghen. Can't wait to see you bring this back to pristine and beyond.

hm, people seem to like this colour...i was never a fan of it but its growing on me.
The target is to make it into a driveable 924 first, then upgrade to 5 lugs, upgrade to poly bushings and coilivers and we'll see from there.

Thanks for the replies guys, feels good to be back to owning and working on a 924, cant wait to be driving one.

It wont be a restoration(at least not right now) so it wont be beautiful in that way, i will straighten it as its a bit wavy here and there, make it into a reliable car and apply my recipe for a bit of extra fun.

Best of luck Big M!
You know I think it's the best colour. I hope you getting it performing great again. Why the n/a rather than a turbo?
