Went to the funeral of an old boss, a teacher, advisor and dear friend. I remember the day I walked into Charlesworth Performance and asked if there were any openings. I was asked do you know anything about Porsches. And I said I own three broke down old 924s and been fixing them back up. Tom smiled a big grin and said your hired. You’ll start doing oil changes and tires and brakes.
That started a nearly 25 year friendship.
It ended too soon and I didn’t spend as much time as I should have just hanging around and listening to stories. This past year we talked about getting old and our health issues. It was good conversations.
I’ll miss your smile and laugh. Happy fishing.

Sorry for your loss Zuffen.
Such is life..we had some guys that were active on this board pass away over the years, some guys even signed out saying that they are too old and sick to keep coming back and expect that one day they just wont anymore...and at one point it will be our time to sign out as well.
A reminder to be grateful for what we have and..enjoy the ride.

EDIT: if you open the link below, you will find a 360 environment image that you can rotate in and look around..you can even zoom.
If you turn around from where google orients you looking at, you will see some 928s, some 911s and a white 944...also some people and an older gentleman in what appears to be working suit next to an SUV and that white 944.
