Went to the funeral of an old boss, a teacher, advisor and dear friend. I remember the day I walked into Charlesworth Performance and asked if there were any openings. I was asked do you know anything about Porsches. And I said I own three broke down old 924s and been fixing them back up. Tom smiled a big grin and said your hired. You’ll start doing oil changes and tires and brakes.
That started a nearly 25 year friendship.
It ended too soon and I didn’t spend as much time as I should have just hanging around and listening to stories. This past year we talked about getting old and our health issues. It was good conversations.
I’ll miss your smile and laugh. Happy fishing.
