I dont know why honestly...all his cars are exactly just that...used and stanced(TM) Porsches with mismatched body panels and a few signature touches(TM) that you dont really see unless you look into detail.

To be honest I like just some of his cars, and I dont consider him something he is not. I think people have too high expectation from this guy.

+ the CGT kidof looks like its best right off the bat.

No doubt, they nailed it with that one. I was hoping he would do something cool with the 931.

He didnt but i did(two tone silver over minerva blue ROW 931, lowered on staggered phone dials) even before he did anything with his CGT.
He cant beat me or if he can, i cant wait to see what he comes up with.

IMHO Mr. Walker is very good at making 911 outlaws. Therefore I was expecting something more than a two-tone with his own version of the classic fuchs.

And I do agree, hard to beat the OEM GTS/GTR.

GT(S) body is very minimalistic in design. Simple lines, not that much curves - it's hard to evaluate something. Hard to add or remove something.

but a standard 924 have only engine block and hood of these 924 gts.
Car chassis is tubular and all mechanics parts are different.

That's called a silhouette racing car and it's pretty standard in the racing world. Most of the 924's raced by the factory used the 924 chassis with a cage installed instead of a tube frame.

There are, as far as I know, 2 tube chassis 924 gtr's. Both build around the a,b,c pilar and frame rails of a GTR wrecked in a race, and both raced as "factory" gtr's afterwards.

Mine, built by Heimrath, and one other. Can't remember off the top of my head who built the other one. I'm sure I'll remember in the middle of the night tonight.

Yes. With enough time and money you could create a replica from a regular 924.

In fact there was one for sale a while ago that looked on the outside quite well done for a replica, until you looked at the VIN and under the hood.
