Not shure it is a performance upgrade, but it's definitely a part of my Frankenporsche.

It looks to me that compressor housing sits too close to the body. Or the engine mount is shot. _________________ WBR, Shurick

Ok, looks like it's time for engine mount spring winding.=) _________________ WBR, Shurick

Occasionally tested 1.4 bar of boost on a new turbo. It's so scaring fast that you don't have time to analyse your feelings. Going in third, step on throttle, 50-150 sprint and than rev limit comes - just it. You even don't have time to feel any fear. That fast.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) 48 lb injectors are too small to feed the engine at that kind of boost levels: it learns up to 0.84 lambda @ ~95% duty cycle (while no pinging), so gone back to 1.2 bar boost .
Sadly I hadn't a camera in the car. 1.2 is also impressive and very fast but nothing special. (((( _________________ WBR, Shurick

That is sick!! great work
At 1.4 Bar/20psi you have to be getting around 300 crank hp you think? Maybe a bit more? _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |
