Sad, but true...
But the car isn't intended for winter use. Anyway I'll coat everything with "Wurth zink spray", which proved itself as trustworthy solution. _________________ WBR, Shurick

it really depends on the material...i've used it when i've cut the fenders for the CGT and there is no rust over there...i didnt weld anything so that helped.
but i've used it on my mk3 vw golf....and it rusts like a mother.. _________________ https://www.the924.com |

Still, tastes are different, I like 924 Carrera GT/S/R front end the most. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

So am I. But this kit (fenders/header panel/bumper) was cheap and readily available. Now I'm looking for rocker panel covers and rear 'turbo' valance to finish the look. _________________ WBR, Shurick

Bodywork is almost done except some minor details such as rear valance and fron bumper fitting.
The colour I used is 'Riviera Blue' (L39E) and it's awesome!

Looking good, great colour, but should have remained a narrow body in my mind. Now its a Frankenstein 924/44, but essentially now neither _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

I didn't liked it. It was derived from a horrible car and provoked lots of unwanted associations:
