Thanks Doco. I will take some pics of mine when I get there. I have the manifold on now. I have the throttle cable with a hook on the end. It looks like I will have to set up some kind of bracket other then the one supplied. The travel seems too long. After I get the carbs installed. I will know more. It seems the carbs butterflies need to be pulled almost straight down to function. Thanks Brad

yes thats the same issue im plaged with they want to be pulled straight down.now i know the the linkage on the carbs can be removed and put in anouther position.maybe change the geometry?now mine being left hand drive,i have found that the cable housing is to short to allow the carbs to be pulled straight down.so im thinking on a longer cable,so it can mount under the carbs, and then pull straight down or im gonna see if i can acully change the postion of the carb linkage.but when it warms up a bit.right now its 20 c below and thats not including windchill, and ive no heat in my small garage.winter gotta love it!!!!

Mine is left hand drive and my cable is really short also. Before I started working on this project I assumed the cable pull would be horizontal and not down. If I am correct the pull may only be up or down because of the notch in the throttle shaft on the carbs. If that so then I will have to see!!! I will keep you informed. Thanks Brad

Yes they are brand new. I bought the Redline kit off of ebay a few month ago. Everything was still in sealed bags.

Well I got the back carb on almost all the way except for the bottom back bolt!!!!! I had to use a rubber mallet to bend the coolant transfer pipe down a little to get the carb on. The AC line into the firewall was a tight fit. I don't know if I can get a aircleaner on it or not. I gave up after dropping the bottom nut about 4 times. You really have to hold your tongue right to get that one on. Brad

Hey Doco. The stock left hand drive cable is also to short. You might have to order a longer cable from Lokar or CSR performance
