there a 87 944 na leaking transmision and he wanted 2500.for it.i offered him no more than a thousand and hes droped to that.interiour and car is in nice shape but it automatic,n.a..what you think its worth it or offer him less.probly pump seal leaking so itll have to come out.might make a nice daily driver.the car was on the road and still plated for this year,he just dosent drive it,since the trans started leaking.what do ya people think about this,its on craiglist in toronto if ya want to see it,id put a link but im no smart enough for that  _________________ Doco "where am i going and why am i in this handbasket"author unknown

$1000? Depends on the leak because fixing an auto trans can get costly quick.

maybe you should look for a replacement transmission first. I doubt they are worth much, since they are so undesirable.

Well I got a 77' NA 924 for $750 and it's on the road....

i say buy it and take the breaks, wheels, front fenders, front valence and start a 924 CGT conversion....

Is the timing and balance belt due for replacement? If yes, that's another $1000 if everything is done right.

i was thinking of updated parts maybe or fix the trans and make it road worthy.he has stated that the timing components have been changed.but why would i want anouther one!!!Humm hooked maybe!!LOL!!i dunno i guess ill think about it somemore .its not on craiglist anymore,maybe ill wait and get it cheeper.  _________________ Doco "where am i going and why am i in this handbasket"author unknown
