From my experiences on this forum for the last year or so, there seems to be two different types of toofah owners. One side wants a running car, takes pride in getting it running, and doesn't care about what algorithms lay beneath the engineering. THen there's the group including: EFI guys, the EDIS guys, the UWB guys, the CAD guys, the racecar guys, etc. Wow, I'm in the first group, but if I had the a choice, I'd like to be in the latter group. It's amazing what can be done to these cars. But, I'm not, and never going to be, but, I keep my head high for what I can do.
Wait till I post my completion pics of the GT intercooler install. Mostly done with used parts found in the machine shed! In fact, the rear mount is a shelf bracket! I'll gather up a flame suit myself! dave _________________ '83 944 Track car.

I think you will find there is an infinate spread between the 2 extremes!
I have the EFI, EDIS and so on, but my install is scrapyard parts and lashed together in places. Solidly built, but not exactly pretty. It annoys me that I don't have the skill to make things just so, but I accept that and move on. _________________ 1994 Lotus Esprit S4 - Work in progress...

Yep.
Fixes are sometimes refix-able too, so if you ever want to go back and do something again, sometimes you can do it. _________________ 1980 924 turbo, MSD, Meth. Inj, otherwise stock. |

'I think you will find there is an infinate spread between the 2 extremes!'
You're absolutely correct! I have been watching Corsepervita's work on the '77 and I was thinking he was nuts to do that! The engine compartment looked like it was under water for some time! But what his effort does for me, just like the inspiration I get from others, is that anything is possible! And that inspiration is regardless of one's level of expertise, I get bits from all of you guys. Ok, enough about me, how's it going Scorpio? _________________ '83 944 Track car.
