Wanna see something that'll blow your mind, go north a ways through Estes Park and onto Trailridge Road (US 34). Highest paved continuous highway in the US.

Yeah, we didn't have time to get up to Rocky Mountain National Park. Last time I was up in Estes Park it was March and it snowed for 24 hours straight, literally. No cool road pix available from that trip, but here's what it looked like:


Any way, on Saturday morning we passed back thru Loveland Pass. Here are some morning pix without all the rain:

Me being fr0m colorado, ive driven it & its simlpy beautiful.. my dad used to take us up there too when i was a youngster. Some parts of the road are scary cause the edge is right there.
