hey does anyone know whats so special about the cooling water tube on an early 924?? myne isnt looking too good and am wondering if you can replace it with just a normal brass tube, or something like this.... oh and if anyone has one they dont want ill gladly take it off them  |

The one down the side of the block?
cock all special about that, the rubber boot at the front is a stupid shape though. Its all rubber hoses coming off it (the ones at the back are rigid plastic covered in rubber - don't try and bend them BTDT broke them)

Copper, and I'd assume brass as well are prone to cracking easily in an engine environment due to vibration. -But they might be alright if suspended by the rubber hoses, and not mounted metal-to-metal to the engine. _________________ "..it's made in Germany.
