Oh the POTD has the IFC 944 fiberglass spoiler I have for my 80... Look close as to how that was installed. Looks like straight on with 4-5 screws. I spent a lot of time building up a fiberglass round edge and then attached with two stainless screws, to the US front reflector holes, with large "fender washers" (oddly enough thats their name) and some rubber pads

fun...

John H's GT rep today, he passed away a few years back.
I remember being a silly kid in the early 2000's saving pics off the web with 924 GTs, this one was one of my favorites and one of the pictures that motivated me to learn, invest and build 924s.
RIP John H.

Thanks for that history... May he rest in peace

I did exactly the same with saving pics but I didn't always know the history behind the pic.

Before I joined the forum in '04 I really believed I was alone in the 924 world. Then I found it, lurked for a while, and then joined

I think I am about to post up a BassGT tribute thread with the few pics I have. Its like this stuff, the pics and history, gets lost or, will get lost, as we might move on or disappear. I feel strange rehosting images but I want those that haven't seen them to have the chance

Very cool, will do. I am actually a tad ticked at myself because I feel like I should have more pics but at least mine won't have the 'bucket' watermark. Plus I intend to keep these up on the net for a good long while God willing

Also hoping others will contribute like yourself

Yeah, I miss it too. Times change, life changes, sometimes objects need to change as well.
