Hey anyone know the approximate market value for a 1981-82 931 head (complete)? Do not know if his price included the intake and exhaust manifolds but I would make him throw it in. Salvage yard quoted me $100 with no warrenty. I did not want one anyway.

The valve cover was off and the cam was perfect. Well other than a couple of small rust stains. I did tell him I would need to remove it to determine for sure if it was good. But the belts were all in place.

Also what is a decent price for the Aluminum charge tube (think that is what it is called) that runs from the turbo to the throttle body? $20 was his price. Funny $20 for that small piece and $100 for the large Aluminum head with perfect cam and followers and such.

100 bucks? Buy it. In fact, buy two if he has them. Between the valves, followers, cam, caps, and oiling tube, you'll be way ahead. $20 for a charge tube is reasonable too but I'd get the shorty tube that comes off the turbo for another $10. Just be sure you get the shape that matches your intake manny (round or oval) unless you plan on replacing the manny too...Can't believe he'd throw in the mannys too. A good, uncracked late-style manny is worth $50-100 by itself.

And if you don't want the head and all those parts, DIBBS!, I'll take it all...
