I need to replace the turbo on my 82 931; FAQs seem to indicated limited options for turbo upgrades if keeping the OEM plumbing due to the 3 bolt flange. In scanning eBay, I saw a couple of turbos for sale that seemed to have a 3 bolt flange on the exhaust attachment, for example, a Saab unit that was for sale. Has anyone run across a turbo yet that will fit the 82 931 and act as an upgrade as well as a good match for the engine?

could'nt you just take a piece of pipe 2" long and weld a plate on each end and drill whatever bolt pattern you need, to mount any turbo.
