Yes they do but the lower tube is for a 14mm bolt not the 12mm bolt on the 924. The thing to do is either use a drill and 14mm bolts as per this how-to or use a piece of pipe with a 12mm inner diameter and a 14mm outer diameter and the 12mm bolts as I did.
If you buy the KG4544s make sure you measure the lower mount tube before you drill or make up shims. The ones I got had one 12mm lower tube and one 14mm. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

FYI # KG4529 is the correct one listed for the 924 and is a direct fit with no screwing around.
The front strut inserts are #363014
Got mine from Rock Auto USA:
KG4529 = US$ 35.79
363014 = US$ 40.79
With shipping to Au works out a good case of beer cheaper and fits straight in. With our piss poor dollar ATM would have to be 2 cases of beer cheaper now. |

If they are saying the same rear shock will bolt to 924 (all) and 924S, they are not filling me with confidence. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Same problem but I used a slightly different solution just incase I ever wanted the holes back to there original size.
I purchased the 944 rear shocks for a reasonable price.
Then I used a stainless steel tube with a wall thickness of 1mm.
I cut the tube into the right length to fit in the hole in the new shocks.
I then slit the tube lengthwise so it was no longer a tube but a C shape.
And bashed it into the shock with a hammer so it was a real snug fit with no overlapping.
I used the same washers as the original solution to deal with the narrower shock end.
Now I have 944 shocks and original bolts and holes.
Just another option for anyone interested.
Sorry pete just read your post where you used the same solution as mine. The only difference was that I slit my tube to get it in easier and get a snug fit. _________________ 1977 924 2.0 Auto |
