There needs to be another slot for the second color. . .maybe a checkbox for two-tone? _________________ Toofah King Bad

Does anybody know the Porsche factory colors for the gulf blue and bright orange used on the gulf race series? I've gotten the Ford "Heritage" gulf paint colors, but I'm not sure if they're the same as the Porsche colors... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Much more orangy than the pic in the first post, as you can see. |
The very first pic on page 1 is my 1978 (1977 production line), it's mars red but quite pale after spending years outside, I had a real chore getting a paint match when I damaged the front bumper as a result! _________________ Mars Red '78 Euro 924 n/a

Here's a pic for the 1981 two-tone platinum metallic / havana brown:
I know, I know, I need to take some more photos...will do soon so that you can get the full effect, but this is the only photo I have at the moment, so it will have to do as a reference for now _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Fantastic thread. Here's another diamond silver metallic, it's not the original paint but it's a close enough match for the most part (I believe the original paint code was used).

Thanks Chrenan. We should meetup sometime next week (I'll give you a call), as this weekend I'm taking the 924 on a small trip down to Calgary. _________________ 924 NA - December/'78 - 5-speed snailshell |

For the time being, please use this thread for submitting photos.. |
