I have read the article below and also the chapter 'suspension' in the Hayens manual (page 216 and 229).
http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=19005&highlight=torsion
In the Haynes manual the say:
Spring plate settings: 23 degree for cars with 22mm torsion bars and 19 degree for cars with 23,5 mm torsion bars. (I asume this setting is unloaded)
a change in spring plate inclination of 1 degree means:
+/- 6 mm change for 22mm torsion bars
+/- 5 mm change for 23,5mm torsion bars
The inner has 40 splines, so 1 spline would be 9 degree.
The oudside has 44 splines so 1 spline would be 8,2 degree
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am a bit confused by the Haynes manual, if I understand it right, one tooth of change from the outher side (with a 23,5mm torsion bars) will give me 8,2x5 = 41 mm lower ??? _________________ 937 trackday car
