A well known engine builder tested all those filters 10 years ago in the BMW Car Club and they do not protect the engine as well as a stock filter. As they get dirty, their efficiency thankfully increases to near stock levels on a new OEM approved filter. When they are new and clean, sure you get a performance boost because they aren't properly cleaning the air. Compared to a stock filter in new and slightly used condition, these performance filters have nowhere near the ability to provide a consistent flow of properly clean air to the engine, unless stopping fine particulates is not important to your purchase decisions. It's almost the modern equivalent of putting chrome valve covers on your Chevy in the 70's when we couldn't afford to go whole hog with real performance equipment. At least the chrome would perform as well as the stock parts in keeping the oil in the engine. I'd leave the race stuff for limited use events like racing, not street cars. Think about this: Detroit Diesel demonstrated using silica powder that it only took 4 grams to destroy a brand new engine. I'm not trying to be a spoilsport, you would be much better off getting a new camshaft and going for real performance. Study the facts about the performance of these after market parts.

Definately fits but to be honest w/ you I am going back to the old air box w/ a K&N in it as it does a better job of getting cold air into the intake. I don't feel like putting the cone in front of the radiator.
