Looking to put a Vr6 in a 1980 porsche 924 turbo.
I've decided I will finish it, regardless of what is necessary.
Engine is quite worn out, and i'm not too enthusiastic about rebuilding the stock engine. 75% of the fuel system parts ( including all the expensive ones) are missing also...
What would be necessary to put a Vr6 in a 931?
What would I need to do for the following :
Bellhousing
Clutch
Torque tube
---
Any help would be great. I figure if anyone has advice i'll hear it through before I start tearing things apart.

Yes it would be possible, but you'll obviously need custom engine mounts, custom manifolds, both intake and exhaust all besides, you'll need a adaptor from the engine to bellhousing, custom starter, and custom flywheel. Items do exist in the Audi world for used with 01a/01E and maybe 016 use from www.034motorsports.com _________________ Ryan Moone

the flywheel they sell is only for 01A/01E use, so you'd need to make a custom flywheel. _________________ Ryan Moone
