Looking for a complete manual for the 87' 924S with electrical and mechanical descriptions.

Hard copy or web based!

Any ideas.

Hi Michael,

I have a 1986 924S.

The 944 Workshops manuals on CD which are on e-bay (approx $25us) cover
most things.
They are in pdf format and much easier to follow than the Haynes manual.

If you need the name of a guy, no problems just email.

There are a couple of people selling the Porsche 944 Service Manuals on CD on eBay. Unfortunately, these are unauthorized, illegal, copies of the Factory Service Manual.

You can buy a legal Factory Manual on Microfiche for less than $50.

rick...chick....chicken

Again, going through the message base to place worthless messages trying to diss me only shows your lack in intelligence.

Oops, chicken... STOP SPOUTING.

Used Fiche Readers (some with printers built-in) can be purchased at swapmeets for $10-$50.

If you buy the right size, you can read the maxi-fiche that Porsche publishes the Dealer Parts Manual on, as well as the standard size fiche that the Factory Workshop Manuals are supplied on. This would be totally legal, and less expensive then buying and storing the printed Factory Workshop Manuals.

good call lizard. anyway, I'll sell a copy of that 944 service manual in .pfd format... I'll say about $25.00. just let me know. and to top it off, I'll even throw in a copy of the Porsche parts catalogue, version 5 for $5.00 more. Porsche dealers now use version 6, but unless you own a 2002 996 or 986, it doesn't matter. well, happy drivin!
