Just spent about two hours cursing while trying to replace my rear speakers. It is easy if you remove the speaker cover which means removing the rear quarter glass and the two small screws and the larger ones at the top of the plate holding the seat back. Don't forget the 10mm bolts on each side of the rear flop down.
If you want to try to do it without removing the cover then hear is what you should do. Large roll of scotch tape to hold the cover over enough. This is if you are alone. Then get a small socket and insert a small phillips head head, the kind that you put on a screwdriver handle, universal. This is your small screwdriver. Pull back the cover gently and put your hand in and remove the 4 small screws. Some are tight. The new blaupunkt had C fixtures instead of metal with a hole in it. Pull the two wires, cut the ends and attach the new wires using the same colors. Don't worry they only go on one way. Put in the farthest screws and place the speaker in and replace the other two screws. Tighten all screws and do the other side. Do the passenger side first. This is easier. FIND a second person who is left handed and have them do the drivers side. It helps if he has two inch hands. Easy and rewarding. Difficulty scale a three. While you have the rear fold down portion off spray paint the metal part on the middle of the vinyl, clean and treat the vinyl and replace all the easy parts. Questions......Ask.

those are tiny little spaces for tweeter speekers!!! Take the speakers and put them in the back seats, carve out a place for them and put two 15 inch subs in there, left and right.
