Somebody on this board mentioned in the past that he is using a Carrera GT head gasket. Who is it? Does anybody know the part number of this gasket? -Troy |

OK. But...Who knows where to get an '03 gasket? The only gaskets I can find from about seven different suppliers (including the dealer) is the '06 gasket. According to the dealer, the '06 gasket is the only gasket available for all 924's and 931's now. All the other part numbers supersede to the '06 number. |

That may be true.
If so then the 931 and 924 gasket is the same

Porsche's parts list shows part #047.103.383. for 924 and 931.104.337.03 for both Turbo and GT.
Both Tweeks and Performance show different "Head Gasket Set"s for 924 and 924 Turbo with $60 to $94 differences between the two.
-but then-
An old Automotion catalog (#15) from about '96 shows #931.104.337.03 for 924 Turbo and #931.104.337.06 for 924NA, so; that leaves you wondering: Did they make the .06 the same thickness as the .03, or the same thickness as the original 924NA gasket, or something in between? Hmmm.. |
