Just a little question...
i am finally ready to get my 924 on the road for the summer, but i seem to have some electrical problems... Every time the car has been stopped and i try to crank it again, it doesn't have enough "juice". My first thought was that this surely has to be the battery, but after trying different batteries on the car, the problem seems to remain. Also, if i try to use jumper cables, it still won't start/crank (it cranks very slowly at best). So far i have been able to start it only by rolling it down a hill, or using a booster (you know those power pack thingies). I know this really sounds n00bish...
have any one of you ever had the same problem? Anyone have any suggestions to what i can do to solve this?
thanks |

Might be a starter wiring problem - I've seen it mentioned here many times. The 924NA wiring is prone to heat and corrosion problems. Look here - http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=10578&start=4
A dirty gunked-up starter solenoid could also be part of the problem. This can cause a no-start when hot, but allow starting when cool. -But this would cause no starter movement at all, not even a click. Bad wiring/grounding will cause the slow starter problem. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."
