Jon,
are we talking about the brake light switch here?
If we are, the switch on a 944 sits against the brake pedal. A simple spring-loaded push switch or micro-switch from your local electronics store would do the same thing. |

heh heh heh... we came up with this problem when we took my 924 through Tech Inspection at driver's school... a quick trip to the local auto parts store by my faithful and trusty crew yeilded a standard Chevy or whatever BLS (brake light switch) that fit perfectly into the provided tab above the brake pedal. Just make sure it's the type that will go on when extended (it mounts behind the pedal, will extend when the pedal is pressed).
