Looks quick I don't know how long you've been riding, but remember that rain is _very_ slick when you're on two wheels!

Hey Lizard!

Really sweet choice in bike you made! Well done!
Now dont go leaving the 24 in the garage once this is all run in, remember it needs to see sunny days too

I must ask, does the 07 6r have that same gremlin as the 6r from one of the previous years (i think it was 05 or 06) were you can hear a slight ticking when riding with your head down near the tank? kinda like a small clock is hidden under there?

Even sweeter is that you got the one with the all newly modelled engine in it! Be careful with that tempting 16,500 redline

D hook, thanks that cracked me up,

Nick I have been riding for awhile and have my full license and it rains alot here, so it isnt as slippery here when it rains as it does it so much. But I always tone it down in the wet and shift my weight more instead of leaning.

Sparky, I never did get a chance to ride an 05/06 ZX6R to have heard that clicking, the one thing that I do notice with this is when rolling to a stop in first gear it sounds like sirens and I am looking around for a cop car. (doesnt happen when your heavy on the brakes though.
I will be able to hit the 16,500 redline VERY soon. Only problem is that is speeding even on the freeway around here in first gear

And remember the brakes are not nearly as good as a Porsche.

I once entered a turn wound out in 3rd gear on a Yamaha Vmax, big mistake, I made some promises before I came out of the other side.

Congrats Lizard. Will it be faster than you 928? Certainly will be cheaper.

I miss my Kawy. A 1984 GPz 750 turbocharged, with (in 1984 mind you) Digital Fuel Injection.

Even a regular bike can beat a fast car.

it gets slightly better gas mileage but not that much better, considering at 100kmph the car is around 2300rpm, and the bike over 6000rpm.

it is faster than my 928 for now. once the 928 has some boost it may be off the line, but not for long.
