Smoothie,

Fantastic. Many thanks. just picked up my engine, and i have a lot to do and as it is Easter holiday, and i've mislaid my haynes manual, i was a tad worried about some of the important things, like the clutch/flywheel ect.
Once again, many thanks for your help. Just goes to prove what a great forum this is.

Best Regards,

Steve

The Haynes Manuals are notorious for incorrect torque values. I would not trust the Haynes Manuals for any torquqw numbers.

The best resource for torque specs are the Porsche Factory Spec. Books. I have heard that the 924 Spec Book was out of print, but there are still NOS copies available from some sources, and used ones do become available on eBay.
