Yeah, you could cut off the extra part of the u-bolt sticking out to make it pretty, but still, nice job.

I just ordered these through my local Porsche agent. There are 29 of the mounts (477 501 095) in the warehouse in Germany (27 now that I've ordered 2) and they quoted me AU$29 each. They have the 133 411 333 retainers in Melbourne (didn't ask how many) and they are AU$9 each.

For those of you wanting the 5-lugs down under, it's the retaining bows you'll want to pick up. Especially at that price.

Arrived today. Here are what the factory parts look like in the flesh:





From left to right we have 113 411 333, 477 411 313 C and 477 501 095.

The prices were slightly higher due to the Aussie dollar now being worth two flat rocks rather than three; 113 411 333 (clamp) AU$9.50 each, 477 501 095 (clip) AU$44.65 each but the real shock was the rubber bushes (477 411 313 C) at AU$37.70 each (the factory rubber bushes for the front swaybar were less than $10 each).

I was thinking about that because welding around that area of the car could be potentially dangerous with a 30 year old fuel system right beside you.

You could probably weld nuts or tubes onto the sides on the `095 part and then bolt it on like Chrenan did with the C-clamp.

Ahem. I hope this is a case of different terminology, but around these parts, it's a U-bolt, and Chrenan used a muffler clamp (that's a U-bolt and the other doohickey that makes the other half of the circle).

A C-clamp is NOT for use as a permanent part of a car, unless you're one of these dreaded P/O's everyone loves to complain about!

Peter, any chance of taking the dimensions of the weld on bracket?

Think its Superpro that make urethane mounts with various IDs and their own saddle clamp. Am running with that on the front and it doesn`t look too difficult to literally knock up something similar out of 3mm plate.

Here you go Roger. Hope this helps. They're both 3mm thick.

I got some Superpro A-arm bushes good price haven't fitted them yet.

If you want more accurate measurements I can post a set of the clamps to you. It's going to be a while before I'm ready to fit them.
