Hi, Is there any way I can repair a leaking fuel line? The pressure line(477209178a) has a hole in it right at the elbow in front of the torque tube. Is replacing the whole line the only way out? Is the pressure there at 6bar? The OEM line appears hard to get not to mention $$. Is there any aftermarket solutions to this problem? Any thoughts would be great!
The car is an 81 931 that I use as a daily driver and it has been great. _________________ 81 931 Minerva Blue

Sure it can be fixed several ways and yes it does have to be able to handle 6 bar.

Mike it is the steel pressure line that starts in front of the fuel tank and runs down the rear bulkhead in front of the torsion bar tube near the left rear wheel and under the body to the left front cowl area.
I was able to buy some fuel injection rubber hose with a rating of 12bar and I double clamped each end with proper fuel injection hose clamps. This should hold until I park the car for the summer, then I will do something more permanent. Thanks for the help!
