I include fuel filter changes with a typical tune-up (i.e. same interval as replacing plugs, plug wires, dist cap, etc.). _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

I've always used 5 years or 60,000 miles which ever occurs first. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

UPDATE. . .
Installed the new filter (after scavenging the outlet fitting from the old one. . .grrrr) and my idle shot up from 850 to 1300.

Timely advice! That is the one I ended up with, although quite by accident, and as I said I needed to steal the outlet fitting from the Bosch unit I removed. . . _________________ Toofah King Bad
