Anyone have a cross reference number for the in-line fuel filter between the tank and the pump at the rear of a 1979-924?
The Porsche # is 477-209-233 but I'm sure Bosch or Purolator has something....
Thanks |

The little thing? It's not actually a filter, as I recall, but a baffle to cut down noise. _________________ Vaughan Scott

I thought that was the accumulator that cut down the noise by smoothing out the fuel flow and kept pressure in the lines after shut down.
Anywho, I've got a filter back there but I believe it's just a generic in-line filter. Go to Napa or favorite parts store and match it up by dimensions, maybe?
I would guess as long as you don't put something tiny on there made for a motorcycle or a lawnmower, you'd be okay.
*EDIT* I just checked my parts book and it doesn't show it so I'm not sure all models came with it or if my PO added it. It's mounted in the hose between the in-tank pump and the fuel pump, IIRC. _________________ '80 924 n/a SOLD

If I get a chance, I'll try to get out and check tonight for a number/brand. _________________ '80 924 n/a SOLD |

Early cars had 2 accumulators of 20cc each.
Later had one 40cc. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

May have found a replacement rear fuel filter:
Purolator #F29128 - $3.50
I just need to verify the hose ID sizes....
Unless anyone has the hose diameter information handy...????
I'll post back my findings....after a fit-up.... |
