I have an '82 931 with the single throttle body. I have an opportunity to get an older intake and dual throttle body. I have a Neuspeed throttle body (35mm/52mm) which would flow about 22% more.
My question is : does the dual throttle work well for driving the 931 slowly and does the second butterfly kick in like a four-barrel carb would? Any personal experience would help. Thanks, Troy. |

Before you waste the money, check out the discussion on throttle bodies in the Tech Section. You can get a larger dual throttle body for less.

The stock dual on my '80 931 works just fine. I do not notice any indication of the second throttle opening. You just get straight, linear accelleration no matter what speed you are driving at. |
