Hey people, i just wanted to know if anyone elso out there who drives an 87 924S has noticed that when in the lower gears...i.e. first, second, the throttle is EXTREAMLY jerky, If you go on and off the gas quick it almost feels as if the body is going to fly ff the wheels??? i just rebuilt the top end and and was told that this could be due to high compression but dam its a rough ride. anyway, if you have any ideas, please let me know. thanks, johnny

Sure it ain't the driver!

LOL

I've had that problem on a 931 hitting rough spots in the road at low speed.

My case would be the flapper bouncing, but yours has the flapper in a differnt direction, could be doing the same thing.

Might check your throttle linkage , it may be too tight hence to sensitive. It is hard to keep the foot steady when bouncing around.

if there is air in the brake lines, your brakes will drag, slowing you as soon as you lift your fooy off the gas

i have heard that it could be the rubber thing on the clutch that has gone bad...my car jerks too, regardless of how gentle i am on the gas. the mechanic told me the clutch felt "tight." i also have to bleed my clutch..could that have anything to do with it to?
