Engine builder here said hed do it for 300.00 . Also said Id have to do something with the springs and I said what if I did it
answer .. Dont ,watch out for the short turn radius(its by the valves)
you can ruin a head at this piont , also
this is where the most streetable power gain is he said .. So you just round slightly and smooth basically. He said also dont enlarge the ports.. Idont know for 300.00 bucks

go to the junk yard and buy an aluminum head from any car to get the feel for how delicate the aluminum is. if you touch the internal passeges with the dremmel and you burn through the water jacket youll know you should leave it to the pro's. the task is to make the holes bigger and at the same time being carful around these certain areas, you need to maintain a minimum of X around this bend to prevent weaknesses in the aluminum that can fail under mechanical and thermal stress. there is only one way for you to personaly know what it is like, give it a go. play with all the drill, cutting, and abrasives bits you have, grind that head down to a nub. intentionally cutting through internal passeges to see where every thing goes. when your done playing, you'll know if you can do it.
