This will be my last post for a long time. When I first started posting here this was a great place for getting ifomation on the 924. It now seems to have more post regarding who ripped who off. What once was a great freindly fourm that I was happy being a part of has degraded to the point I no longer care to be apart of it.

To all of you that have helped me thank you.

Sorry to see you go kaffine. I'm worried you may be the first of a few of the regular guys leaving, including me.

To clarify, no it's not specifically about Neil, I think he's been ripped off and appreciate the warning for one thing. Perhaps it is cabin fever, it just seems this becoming a board for bickering and squabbles and losing it's pleasant nature. Anyway, never mind me I'm just stressed between too much work and too much college! I think it's time to get out of the 924 business, I just don't think I have the time or energy for all this...

BTW. I am actually Seasonal Affective and aware of it!

These posts come and go. It is still the best info board around with good mechanics .
Itís all just human nature anyway and what happens in the real world, the spice of life. I think these posts are an entertaining break from the wrench talk and sometimes-quite funny to read.

Good luck.

I really didn`t care for the "approach" a certain other member decided to take with regards in being "ripped off". Even with logical mature advice, his actions and words I would deem as "juvenile"

Will this make me stop visiting the board and posting on occasion? No. Even though this is public forum, I don`t believe this kind of crap should "litter" our board.

Enough said.

Alright, it's finally come down to it. We need some indiscriminate swinging of the ban stick.

Totally agree. Most of you guys have been here for a couple of years and should remember that things always get a bit strained around April. I always figured it was the end of the northern hemisphere winter and the ol` cabin-fever was at it's height.

If things get too out of hand then sending a couple of guys to the sin-bin usually gets things back on track.

Maybe not so much as to send someone off to the "sin bin", but maybe a freindly reminder in the form of a pm, and maybe a rule?

Maybe some general rules pasted to the top of all the discussions should be made.

I don`t like the idea of all the fish.

OK, so is this all about Neil`s thread about his frustrations with PorschePalace and that South African guy having a go at ESC944 and the Hasbrauen guys or am I missing something?

The South African has been warned and Neil`s thread is sliding off the top 20.

If there`s something else then say so. Specific complaints can be addressed vague grumblings get ignored.

I'm really not familiar with 'the South African guy' thread. However, I don't think that Neil's thread was offensive at all. As a matter of fact, I would consider a thread like Neil's MANDATORY in a close-knit community like ours to help from being ripped off or at least to try to make the offender accountable. If a person is taken for less than $500, and the seller is thousands of miles away, can the courts REALLY be an option?

Was Neil's thread removed from the board?

If you warned the south african fellow. I would sure hope you warned the Hausbrauen crew as well. Takes two to tango.

I agree, it has been nice to have the South African guy keeping that crew busy.
